A Christmas Carol

In the opening scene, the full company assemble around the last available Christmas tree in London, 

singing a carol.  Before long, Scrooge will interrupt by knocking over the tree trying to get to work.

SCROOGE: "Horrible horrible screeching! Move on! Move on I say! Be off with you! 

How can anyone be expected to run a business during a riot! Be off! Or I shall call the police!"
