INFORMATION ABOUT MICHAEL UNGER’S ACTING CLASSES

Welcome to class.  I have composed this informational sheet so that you understand how my classes work.

1.      If you don’t work, you don’t pay. 

2.      LIMITED TIME OFFER: As word of mouth is the best advertising, I want to show my appreciation to you for spreading the word by offering one free class to any student who brings in another student who commits to a six-class session.  You have four weeks to redeem that free class.

3.      When you sign up for the class, you are expected to pay upfront and commit to six, consecutive classes at a time to receive a $5/class discount.  If you are unable to make a class during those six weeks to which you have committed, it is your responsibility to find a replacement for yourself.  If I have enough prior notice, I will attempt to fill your position from my alternate list but I make no guarantees.  You are welcome to see if other students may have some friends who are trying to brush up a monologue or song and need one class here or there.  You can also be on the alternate list and take the class "a la carte," although that is slightly more expensive.  PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE but currently, the 6-class package is $60/class ($360 total).  A la carte is $65/class.

4.      I don’t feel it’s right to penalize you for getting work as that is the purpose of the class.  If you do get performance work within the session you have paid for, YOU HAVE ONE MONTH from the date of the missed class to make up that class or find a sub.  Beyond a month, you forfeit that class.  If classes are not in session during the four weeks following a missed class, you will be able to make up your class within the next four classes that I hold.

5.      If you’d like to continue into the next session, I need payment at least one week in advance to hold your slot.

6.      If you are interested, I will put your picture and resume up on my website and you are welcome to point people to www.ungerware.net/students.htm to find you.  Let me know if you have phone numbers and email address on your resume you don’t want to be public.  You will be responsible for letting me know if you want your picture and resume removed.
